Nasberry Villa is where Nathalia and I stayed—three bedrooms, three bathrooms, sleeping up to six adults and two children. For two people in a three-bedroom villa, it felt absolutely luxurious. We each had our own suite with plenty of room to spread out.

• You want to explore Negril’s dining and nightlife scene rather than eating in
• You prefer a lower price point with the same Seven Mile Beach access

• You like the flexibility of a boutique hotel over a villa rental

The Beach property is a proper boutique resort with rooms and suites, an on-site restaurant, flat-screen TVs, air conditioning, and standard hotel amenities. It’s ranked well on TripAdvisor and is a solid choice for travelers who want quality without the premium villa price tag. But if you’re looking for that next-level experience where everything is handled for you, the Villas are in a completely different league.

What to Do Near the Property in Negril

The concierge can arrange just about anything, but here are the standouts we experienced or researched during our stay:

Rick’s Cafe is about 25 minutes down the coast and is legendary for cliff jumping and sunset watching. We did the catamaran trip there, which was the perfect way to arrive. The Blue Hole (Island Gully Pond) is about an hour’s drive and completely worth it—a freshwater sinkhole surrounded by lush vegetation that feels like a different planet from the beach. YS Falls is a seven-tiered waterfall with natural pools that makes for a full-day excursion.

For day trips further afield, the Appleton Rum Estate offers tastings and tours, and the Blue Mountain Coffee Tour is a must if you’re a coffee person. Nathalia and I also did beach yoga at sunrise most mornings, which was the perfect slow-morning energy to balance the more adventurous days.

And a local tip: buy fresh coconuts on the drive from Montego Bay for about $1 each. Crack one open, throw in some white rum (or don’t), and you’ve got peak Caribbean refreshment. Sometimes the simplest experiences are the best.
